Starting from 11th February, the Directorate of the Old City of Damascus, supported by the gtz-Project for the Rehabilitation of the Old City of Damascus, resumes the activities for children. Through a storyteller, a short animation film on water saving and a dialogue with the school classes, the children will become aware of the heritage of the Sabils, which have been traditionally used as water dispensers throughout Damascus.

On the occasion of the visit of the German fire protection expert Mr. Christoph Kunze, sessions on fire protection will be included into the first three events of the Sabil program.

1st session: Thursday, 11th February, 9.30 - 11.30 am, on Sabils and Fire protection

2nd session: Sunday, 14th February, 9.30 - 11.30 am, on Sabils and Fire protection

3rd session: Thursday, 18th February, 10-12 am, on Sabils
