The Program for Sustainable Urban Development GIZ- UDP is a joint undertaking of the Ministry of Local Administration  (MLA), Planning and International Cooperation Commission (PIC), the Municipality of Aleppo (MoA), the Governorate of Damascus (GoD), several other Syrian partner institutions and the German International Cooperation (GIZ) under the patronage of the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

The UDP is now in its second implementation phase which has started on 1st of November 2009, after a successful first phase which had started at August 2007.
The program as a whole intends to promote capacities for sustainable urban management and development at both the national and local municipal levels. The GIZ and its partners have agreed on three projects as major fields for cooperation. Be first to get cash loans online from easy loan process.
